Can you hire a maid without an agency?
Yes. MOM lets employers apply for or renew a helper's Work Permit themselves through its FDW eService, using their own Singpass. To transfer a helper who is already working in Singapore, you submit the application with written consent from her current employer. First-time employers must complete the Employers' Orientation Programme (EOP) before applying.
